On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the Outreach Committee held it's first annual pilgrimage of parishes within our community. We had three stops at St. John the Baptist in Amherstburg, St. Clement in McGregor and St. Anthony of Padua in Harrow. At each stop we received a small talk about the Church's history and were able to explore some artifacts, historical records, photos and even a tomb under the sanctuary. We received handouts about each Saint the Church was named after and prayed to them as a group. At our final stop, we gathered for fellowship and refreshments where we had the opportunity to make new friend san reminisce about our parishes.
We would like to thank everyone who came out to make this first pilgrimage such a great success and a fun afternoon!
Much appreciation to Fr. Matt Kucharski, Fr. Danny Santos, Deacon Matt Sutton, Diane Coyle, Dennis Meloche and Laurie Abraham for opening their Church doors to us and sharing their knowledge and time about their Church's history.
We hope to make this a yearly event and add more stops next year!
